Good Cashback Value

5% on paying via PayZapp, 2.5% on all online spends and 1% on all offline spends is by far the highest cashback value offered on any cashback card on online spend. The only downside being the cashback is valid on transactions of Rs. 2000 and above.

Very Good

Millennia comes with Rs. 1,000 annual fee and you earn cashback points worth Rs. 1,000 on renewal, and you get 8 lounge access free with the card. The card comes with high annual fee waiver milestone of Rs. 1 Lac.

Reward Redemption Value

Millennia gives reward redemption value of Rs. 1 if cash points are redeemed against credit card bill as compared to Rs. 0.30 on SmartBUY, which is quite good.

I recently started using HDFC Milllenia Credit Card and I am very happy using the card. I make most of the payments via Payzapp on Amazon and Flipkart, which is where I do most of my shopping. I would have loved it even more if I could do small purchases and still get the cashback. If you aren't able to get a cashback on small transactions, you miss out on deals hoping that you would order items together but besides that I love shopping with the card.

I do all my shopping online. Right from my toothnbrush to almost everything I wear is all bought online. One thing any shopaholic loves is great deals. You see something on discount you end up purchasing that, it could be a product on Nykaa or a tshirt on Flipkart; However, with this card you have to spend at least Rs. 2000 to get benefits of the card, which doesn't seem reasonable to me. Now I usually wait till I like a few things and then buy them together and if you like a single product on a site, then you don't get any benefit. So I don't think this card is very useful. If you are someone who wants to purchase monthly groceries or buy mobile phones etc it's a great card but for an average user it's a really bad choice.

Ecommerce Sites in India like Myntra and Jabong have an average order value of Rs. 325. Amazon and flipkart are evern lower. With this kind of average order value; How can they expect the user to spend Rs. 2000 to get a cashback. The cashback on offline purchases is limited to 1% which isn't exactly bad but there are many cards like Yes Bank Prosperity Plus that offer a much better reward value on offline spends.

Just got the card a couple of months back and it has already became my main card for online shopping and payments. I usually spend around Rs. 10,000 for my online shopping and bill payments every month and I’m pretty sure I’ll be easily eligible for the annual fee waiver. Although, I wish there the maximum cashback limit was a bit higher since currently I’m only saving Rs. 1,500 on my online shopping through cashback, and I don’t use the card for any offline shopping.
